Contact Centre Representative (Remote Position Available)

We are looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Contact Centre Representative to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for community members, providing assistance, answering enquiries, and delivering clear information about our services. Your ability to communicate effectively, maintain accurate records, and offer exceptional customer service will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound calls from the community related to waste management, rates, and company services

  • Respond to enquiries promptly and professionally to ensure a positive customer experience

  • Accurately log and update information for record-keeping and follow-up

  • Provide clear, consistent, and reliable information on company services, policies, and procedures

  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate departments to ensure timely resolutions

  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to address service challenges and support continuous improvement

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a contact centre or customer service environment is preferred

  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to explain information clearly

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail when logging and maintaining data

  • Proficiency with customer service software and the Microsoft Office Suite

  • A proactive, solutions-focused attitude toward resolving customer enquiries

  • Ability to manage a high volume of incoming calls in a fast-paced environment

  • A suitable home workspace and reliable internet connection if working remotely
