My name is Anissa Jones and I am the founder of Aussi Jobs.

I have placed thousands of International travellers on Australian Working Holiday visas in jobs throughout Western Australia since March 2004.

Listed below is a brief resume of myself, so you can see I am a real person behind all telephone calls and emails.

My family have been farmers and pastoralists for over 100 years, and I have had the opportunity to be raised on an outback station near Kalgoorlie and was schooled in Perth. During school term, we spent weekends at the farm in Gingin and holidays back at the Station, so I am used to hard work, and I certainly know how to get my hands dirty. In the agricultural sector, I have personally done the following:

• Aerial / Motorbike Mustering
• Shearing (shed hand, wool classing, drenching, cooking)
• Lamb Tailing inc mulesing (only the green rings and ears for me!)
• Feedlot cattle, cattle ear tags, assist in cattle births, hay baling, tractor driving
• Bookkeeping for family business
• Visited farms whilst cropping/seeding (my family have not farmed in this area, but my knowledge is sound)
• Banksia Flower (Hookeriama) cutting and stripping
• Vineyard training

After completing a Travel Diploma, I did my Australian duty and left Perth to travel overseas. It was only meant to be a 6 month adventure, and after 4 years I returned permanently to Perth. In London I worked in Hospitality then secured employment with a large healthcare corporation in their African Marketing Division. This employment gave me the opportunity to save and use my holidays to travel quite extensively over this period to European and African countries (with my backpack!).

Back in Perth, I have been in the Recruitment sector now a total of 11 years, and in this time, I have successfully put a company for the first time through accreditation in Quality Assurance. I have a thorough knowledge of recruitment from Reception, Administration to Consulting Management.

I have had a lot of success placing travellers in exciting jobs. I feel I personally have good attributes in meeting people and get an understanding of their business, to successfully place in their companies, travellers who are on Working Holiday Visas, and really want an Aussi Job Experience.

Most travellers are really keen to work and to save their money for their next adventure. Some travellers are very fussy in what they do, and think they should be paid a lot for little work that they do – this is where I think I can canvas the travellers’ intention to my best knowledge.

I have a good understanding of a large range of industries, and if I don’t know something, I will be sure to ask you, to enable me to provide you with a worker who has actually been briefed about the position available in your industry and if successfully placed, you will receive full registration details on each traveller. In turn, each traveller will receive information about your company and position you may have available, as listed on your completed Registration Form. All working holiday visas are checked with a direct link to the Immigration Website.
